RIVERVIEW — A traffic stop Oct. 23 for excessive window tinting and obstruction resulted in a 30-year-old Madison Heights woman being cited for driving without a valid license and for not having vehicle insurance.

The woman was found to have multiple arrest warrants from Dearborn Heights, Flat Rock, Taylor, Van Buren Township and Westland.

A friend who was a licensed driver was allowed to retrieve her vehicle.

After the woman was cited, she was advised about the outstanding warrants before being released on a personal recognizance bond.
