DEARBORN — A blue 2022 Ford Ranger was impounded at a student’s residence after police officers responded to a complaint of the driver doing burnouts in the Fordson High School parking lot, which was captured on video camera footage.
The young driver initially denied involvement, and said his friends must have taken his keys and performed the reckless maneuvers, but once he was told that the incident was filmed, he confessed to being the driver.
He was cited for reckless driving, and was advised on court procedure. The vehicle was then impounded and towed.
