ALLEN PARK —A store employee trying to prevent a man from exiting Home Depot, 3163 Fairlane Drive, on the night of Oct. 29 with a cart full of tile and a faucet valued at $386 was threatened with assault by the aggressive shoplifter.
The man then fled with the cart through the parking lot and loaded the stolen merchandise into a black four-door vehicle and drove off toward Oakwood Boulevard.
Police later located the vehicle, and learned that the man was wanted for retail fraud in several neighboring cities.
