WYANDOTTE — A 40-year-old Detroit man with a suspended driver’s license was arrested for operating under the influence at 2:04 a.m. Nov. 3 on Fort Street near Eureka Road, where a police officer saw him driving north in the southbound lanes of Fort Street.

Following a traffic stop, standardized field sobriety tests were conducted. A preliminary breath test was administered, and the man had a blood-alcohol content of 0.11, more than the 0.08 limit for legally drunk in Michigan.

His vehicle was impounded and towed, and the man was taken into custody.
