SOUTHGATE — A contractor renovating a commercial building in the 13000 block of Reeck Court inadvertently triggered an alarm the morning of Oct. 25, which initiated a police response.

The contractor, who was found inside a restroom, was able to provide proof that he was doing renovations inside the building.

Other nearby business buildings were checked out, but no problem indicators were found.
