ALLEN PARK — Flock cameras, which read vehicle license plates, alerted police officers that a car stolen in Canton Township was parked at Panera Bread, 3112 Fairlane Drive.
Police officers found the red Mitsubishi Lancer and confirmed its stolen status, then initiated a felony traffic stop when a man exited the store and entered the vehicle.
The driver, who complied with all verbal commands, was handcuffed and placed in the back of a police vehicle, while the stolen car was impounded and towed.
