HEIGHTS — A 73-year-old Dearborn Heights man reported Sept. 16 that $511 was fraudulently withdrawn from his electronic benefit card over three transactions Sept. 5 at retail establishments.
He said he discovered the fraud when he went to make a purchase and his card was declined.
The victim said his previous benefit card account number has since been canceled and a replacement issued.
