ALLEN PARK — The driver of a silver-colored Jeep who struck another driver the night of Aug. 20 on northbound Southfield Road south of I-94 is being sought for leaving the scene of a crash.

The victim, who was in the right lane of Southfield, said the Jeep driver tried to merge into his lane from two lanes to his left, striking his vehicle.

The Jeep driver pulled into a gas station, but then fled without identifying themself. It is possible that the gas station surveillance cameras will be able to identify the license plate number and the identity of the driver.
