SOUTHGATE — An olive-green iPhone 13 Pro stolen the night of July 27 from a woman shopping at the Lincoln Park Meijer store was tracked to an ecoATM kiosk that redeems cell phones for cash inside Walmart, 14900 Dix-Toledo Road.

A customer service representative was able to open the kiosk and allow a police officer to retrieve the stolen cell phone and return it to its rightful owner.

The representative agreed to forward any information about the person who redeemed the stolen cell phone to the police detective bureau.
