ALLEN PARK —A man and a woman were taken into custody and cited for retail fraud the afternoon of Aug. 3 at Home Depot, 3163 Fairlane Drive, when loss prevention personnel saw them conceal merchandise valued at $189 inside a bag and a purse, then attempt to leave the store without rendering payment.
In addition to electronics merchandise, the two attempted to steal two Mountain Dew drinks.
The pair were banned from the store and escorted out in handcuffs.
