SOUTHGATE — A man who had been evicted from Motel 6, 18777 Northline Road on May 15, following several police officer visits to his room in the preceding days, reported that a four-foot dog leash and a gray laundry basket were stolen from his room.
The victim said a man who had been in his room, whom he described as white, 5 feet 5 inches tall, weighing 155 pounds, with short hair, and tattoos on his face and arms, was a likely suspect.
A clerk at the motel said the tattooed man was also evicted from the property, and provided a possible location for him.
