SOUTHGATE — A Louis Vuitton wallet that a woman accidentally left on the counter of a dollar store checkout counter June 11 was later found in the parking lot missing $400 in cash.
The victim’s credit cards and driver’s license were still in the wallet.
A man who had been standing behind the victim in the checkout line was the person who turned it in after claiming to find it in the store’s parking lot.
