SOUTHGATE — A homeowner’s Ring camera sent a notification to his phone at 9 a.m. May 22 after a stranger entered his backyard and started to dig in a mound of grass with his pocket knife.
The complainant said he has owned the property for more than 12 years, and thinks the previous owner might have buried things in the mound of dirt.
He did not confront the suspicious person, who left before police officers arrived.
