RIVERVIEW — A 26-year-old Riverview man was arrested at 2:08 a.m. April 27 following a traffic stop for driving 73 mph in a 45-mph zone on Fort Street near Pennsylvania Road.

The man, who smelled of intoxicants and had watery and glossy eyes, failed multiple standardized field sobriety tests.

A preliminary breath test was administered, and the man had a blood-alcohol content of 0.14, higher than the 0.08 limit for legally drunk in Michigan.

His vehicle was impounded and towed, and he was cited for operating while impaired and held.
