SOUTGATE —A woman who regularly helped her neighbors by bringing in their garbage cans from the curb to the side of their house after the waste trucks completed their route was reported to police officers April 15 by a neighbor who said she didn’t want the good Samaritan to touch her waste receptacles or set foot on her property.
The woman was told that the neighbor did not appreciate her efforts, and was counseled by a police officer to limit her bin handling to her own waste containers in the future.
