DEARBORN — An $80 book bag, a $350 welding hood, a $300 HP laptop and $380 Apple AirPods were reported stolen the morning of April 9 from an unlocked gray Ford Focus in the 23500 block of Lawrence Avenue.
The victim said his car was unlocked overnight because his key fob was not working properly.
The thief likely wore gloves, because an evidence tech was unable to find any fingerprints.
The Apple AirPods were pinging in the area of Westland Estates, a large apartment complex in Westland.
