RIVERVIEW — A red 2019 Dodge Challenger Scat Pack was reported stolen the morning of March 4 from a residential driveway in the 14000 block of Georgia Avenue.

Glass was discovered on the ground where a window was broken on the car to gain entry. Surveillance camera footage captured the theft at 3:55 a.m., and shows a suspect entering the car, backing it down the driveway and then heading west on Georgia Avenue toward Mulberry Street.

A driver in a white Chrysler 300 then followed closely behind the stolen Dodge Challenger as they both turned north onto Mulberry Street in the direction of Pennsylvania Road.

The Challenger, which is usually stored in the victim’s garage, was parked in his driveway because his other car was in the shop for work.

The car was entered into the Law Enforcement Information Network as stolen, and surveillance footage of the theft was forwarded to the police detective bureau.
