HEIGHTS — An 87-year-old man reported March 5 that he received an alert from a credit reporting agency in February that a fraudulent line of credit had been opened in his name with a $12,300 outstanding balance.
The line of credit was spent at an automotive repair facility.
There were no suspects. The bank supplying the loan was advised of the fraud.
