ALLEN PARK — A man who stole four bottles of tequila from Meijer, 3565 Fairlane Drive, was taken into custody the night of March 5 after he tried to flee the store by bicycling east on Outer Drive.
The man, whose theft was captured on surveillance camera footage, was wearing a black jacket and a snug knit red cap.
When stopped by police officers, the stolen tequila, collectively valued at $195, was found in his duffle bag.
The man was charged with retail fraud and with possession of burglary tools.
