LINCOLN PARK — A 73-year-old Lincoln Park woman reported Jan. 24 that she recently discovered that fraudulent wire transfers had been withdrawn for the past three months from her credit union savings and checking accounts.

She said she only became aware of the problem after she was denied a transaction due to insufficient funds.

At the time of the report, she was unable to provide a detailed list of fraudulent transactions. She was advised to work with her credit union to provide a complete list with amounts, and to forward it when the information is compiled.
