TAYLOR — A 19-year-old Taylor man reported the morning of Feb. 10 that three of his guns were stolen on Feb. 9 from his mother’s house in the 26000 block of Gary Street.

He said a Glock 36 .45-caliber semi-automatic handgun, a Beretta 9-millimeter 9ZFS semi-automatic handgun and a SDS Lynx #91869 .12-gauge shotgun, which were lying on his bed when he left for work at 3 p.m. Feb. 9, were gone when he returned home at 10 p.m.

He suspects that two of his mother’s friends, whom he saw leaving the residence, took his guns, but when he confronted one of them by phone later, he denied it. He provided the police office with the man’s contact information.

The firearms were entered into the Law Enforcement Information Network as stolen.
