RIVERVIEW — A 22-year-old Detroit man with an expired license plate was subject to a traffic stop the afternoon of Jan. 29 on northbound Fort Street near Trenton Road.

The driver admitted that his vehicle registration was expired and his driver’s license was suspended. He was ticketed for driving with a suspended license and warned about the expired plate. His passenger had a valid driver’s license, so the vehicle was released on the condition that she drive it.
