ALLEN PARK — A young man who tried to steal a Vector 6-in-1 portable power pack the afternoon of Jan. 23 from Home Depot, 3163 Fairlane Drive, by trying to lower the item over the garden supply area fencing with stolen clothesline, subsequently scaled the perimeter fence and fled on foot when approached by loss prevention personnel.
The power pack was recovered outside the fence.
A loss prevention employee said the man was under camera surveillance from the time he entered the store. He was described as a tall, slim black male with dreadlocks, wearing a blue hoodie and black pants.
