RIVERVIEW — A 49-year-old Riverview man was arrested the morning of Jan. 11 after a traffic stop for driving while his license was revoked revealed three active arrest warrants.

The man also had drug paraphernalia – used syringes – in a backpack, for which he was cited, along with driving without a valid license.

The Trenton and Westland police departments said they were willing to have the man advised and released with respect to warrants from their jurisdictions, but the Southgate Police Department arranged to take the man into custody.
