ALLEN PARK — A woman who attempted to steal three pieces of clothing and a pack of fake eyelashes by hiding them in her bookbag the night of Jan. 20 at TJ Maxx was cited for retail fraud and banned from the store.

The woman made a small purchase at the checkout lane, but did not attempt to pay for the concealed items. As she approached the store exit, she was detained by loss prevention employees until police officers arrived.
