TAYLOR — Flock license plate reading cameras helped Taylor police officers recover a stolen black 2016 Ford F-150 the morning of Dec. 2 after it was stolen from a house in the 25000 block of Wick Road.

The license plate readers tracked the vehicle plate four times, after which police officers looked for the pickup in the Robinwood Estates public housing complex, where it was found.

There were no surveillance cameras in the area that might have captured footage of the thief.

The 23-year-old owner was reunited with his vehicle, which was undamaged, with nothing stolen from its interior.
