ALLEN PARK — The silver Honda Civic driven by a customer waiting in a drive-through line the night of Dec. 12 at Rite Aid Pharmacy, 15411 Southfield Road, was backed into by the white Dodge Grand Caravan of the driver ahead of her.

The woman exited the Caravan, argued with the driver of the vehicle she struck, re-entered her vehicle and hit the Honda Civic one more time before fleeing.

Police officers went to the residence associated with the offender’s license plate, but received no response.

The woman later called the police station to admit to her part of the encounter, and said she left the scene because she felt the damage to the other vehicle was inconsequential.

She was subsequently cited for leaving the scene of an accident, with the citation mailed to her.
