ALLEN PARK — More than a month after a customer failed to return a rental trunk from Penske Trunk Rental, 3700 Enterprise Drive, a manager reported the missing vehicle to the police on Dec. 12 as stolen.
He said the renter, who took possession of the truck Nov. 3, did not return it Nov. 7, and did not respond to a Nov. 21 certified letter. The truck was subsequently entered into the Law Enforcement Information Network as stolen.
