DEARBORN — A homeowner in the 200 block of Silvery Lane reported the morning of Dec. 13 that following his paying for the removal of a tree that straddled both his and his neighbor’s property, the neighbor hired a company to use motorized equipment to push the dirt into his yard, tearing up his lawn in the process.

The complainant also showed the responding officers that his neighbor had taken all the wood from the downed tree and stacked it in their own yard.

The neighbor refused to cooperate or talk to the responding officers. The complainant was given a police report number for his records.
