MELVINDALE — A man at Gale Gardens Apartment who habitually parks illegally in the fire lane was ticketed Dec. 7 after ignoring a police officer’s request to move his silver Jeep.
When approached by a police officer, the man responded rudely and declined to move his vehicle until threatened with towing and impoundment.
Had he moved the vehicle when initially asked, he would have avoided a ticket, but his vulgar language and insolent attitude earned him a teachable moment and a ticket.
