DEARBORN — A black backpack containing a $1,500 Dell laptop and four textbooks valued at $400 was reported stolen Nov. 30 from a white 2010 Dodge Journey parked in front of a house in the 22400 block of Columbia Street.
The victim, a 26-year-old Dearborn woman, said a neighbor informed her that morning that her driver’s side rear vehicle door was open. She said the glove box and center console were rummaged through. Neighbors’ surveillance cameras may have captured images of the thefts.
