ALLEN PARK — A black nylon handbag with house keys, an identification card, debit cards and $20 cash were reported stolen the afternoon of Oct.11 from a woman at Aldi, 23035 Outer Drive.
The victim said the theft occurred after she paid for her groceries. An Apple Air Tag device inside the purse indicated that it was at a Detroit location. Local police arrived at the address but found the house unoccupied.
The victim’s daughter continued to track the location of the Apple Air Tag, while the victim was advised to cancel her debit cards and to change the locks on her residence.
