TAYLOR — Concrete street repairs in several areas of the city have been approved.

Repairs are planned in the following sections:

• 8, 9W, 9C & 10 – Located north of Wick Road and south of Ecorse between Beech Daly and Pelham roads.

• 12 – Located between Goddard, Wick, Beech Daly and Telegraph.

• 17 – Located between Goddard, Northline, Telegraph and Pardee.

• 20 & 23 – Located between Northline, Pennsylvania, Telegraph and Beech Daly.

The city’s concrete repair concrete is Audia Concrete Construction. Letters have been sent to all properties affected by the construction.

All concrete replacement will be performed in a half-width method. Only one side of the road will be closed at any time to attempt to maintain residential traffic and emergency vehicle access.

Typically, each repair location will require approximately 10 days from start to completion.

Scheduled trash, recycle, and yard waste pickups will not be affected by the pavement improvements; however, the pickups may be completed earlier in the morning during construction in an effort to expedite the pavement replacement process.

Residents should place their bins near the curb line on their schedule pickup day prior to 7 a.m. Residents also should label their trash and recycle bins with their address to avoid their bins being misplaced.

Mail services will not be affected by the pavement replacement improvements.

The main contact for all questions is Mario Audia at 248-676-9570.
