HEIGHTS — An 84-year-old man reported July 2 that an identity thief withdrew $500 from his credit union account from a location in Royal Oak.
The victim said he never lost his bank card and does not know how anyone accessed his account. His financial institution closed the account and asked him to file a police report to initiate an internal investigation.
