ALLEN PARK — Two people stole multiple items of clothing from Old Navy, 3260 Fairlane Drive, the afternoon of July 25, escaping in a burgundy 2006 Chrysler Town and Country minivan.
Stolen were more than $800 worth of clothing for men, women and children stuffed into two Rally House shopping bags.
Store personnel said a man and a woman filled a shopping cart with clothing from various departments, then hid behind an advertising display to remove anti-theft tags and to bag the items selected. The two then left the store separately.
The suspects were described as a tall black man wearing a white T-shirt, black shorts and a brown baseball cap, and a heavyset black woman wearing a light blue shirt, blue shorts and a tan baseball cap. Store surveillance footage was sent to the police detective bureau.
