ALLEN PARK — Two cartons of Newport cigarettes and a vape pen, collectively valued at $271, were reported stolen July 23 from the BP gas station at 16059 Southfield Road.
The store manager said two black males entered the store and one distracted him while the other stole the items mentioned.
The two men walked away in a southeast direction along Southfield Road. Police officers canvassed the area but were unable to locate them.
The manager said he would forward surveillance footage of the men to the police detective bureau.
