DEARBORN — Suspicious characters checking out parked cars at the Henry Hotel, 300 Town Center Drive, at 4:49 a.m. July 21 fled the area after security personnel, alerted by surveillance cameras, entered the VIP lot east of the hotel to investigate the situation.
A spokesperson for the hotel said a full-sized gray van and a light-colored pickup drove over a grass berm into the VIP parking lot and and a person was seen looking at a Dodge Durango. When they spotted the hotel’s security personnel, they rapidly drove away on the southbound Southfield Road service drive.
The employee representative said none of the guest cars were damaged. Police officers were able to view the surveillance camera footage.
