ALLEN PARK — A red 2014 Dodge Charger was reported stolen the morning of July 3 from the 14000 block of Russell Avenue.
The victim said the car belongs to a cousin, who borrowed his sport utility vehicle for a weekend trip to Chicago.
He said he heard the sound of breaking glass about 1:55 a.m., and heard the sound of the Charger being driven off. Surveillance camera footage shows a white Chrysler 300 drop off the alleged car thief, but the other vehicle’s license plate number was not captured.
