ALLEN PARK — A boy’s gold and black Beast Mode Ripper SE bicycle was reported stolen the morning of July 8 from the backyard of a house on Thomas Avenue.
The bicycle, which was purchased three months earlier, was left in the backyard about 9 p.m. the night before.
A neighbor said they heard a loud noise and received an alert on their cell phone about 1 a.m. July 8 from their security system, but their surveillance cameras did not capture any images of their neighbor’s theft.
