DEARBORN — A Dearborn man in a rented 2023 Polaris Slingshot three-wheeled motorcycle was cited for reckless driving the afternoon of June 28 after he was seen driving 50 mph in a 25-mph zone in the 2800 block of Amazon Street where numerous children were outside playing.
The vehicle renter was cited and released on the scene. The son of the vehicle’s owner, who rents Slingshots as a business venture, came to the scene to retrieve the vehicle, which had been purchased two weeks earlier. He provided proof of registration and insurance.
