ALLEN PARK — A man who is suspected of committing retail fraud at the Southgate Dunham’s Sports committed a similar retail fraud May 19 at the chain’s Allen Park store on Outer Drive.
The man stole a tan Yeti Tundra 45 cooler valued at $325 by running out the front door of store with it after struggling with an employee who tried to grab it back.
The man was described as black, wearing a black and white camouflage jacket and blue jeans.
He fled as a passenger in a red Ford Explorer driven by another black male.
A store employee took cell phone video and captured the men, the vehicle and the license plate number, which was provided to responding police officers. The getaway vehicle was registered to a Hamtramck resident.
