HEIGHTS — A Dearborn Heights man applying for a loan with the Michigan Business Connection learned May 26 that an identity theft had taken out a $16,684 loan in his name with Genet Commercial.
The victim provided police officials with documentation concerning the fraud and was provided with a case number.
