MELVINDALE — A gray 2015 Chrysler 200 was impounded and towed the afternoon of Nov. 16 when it was found to have an expired paper license plate, no insurance and both the driver and vehicle owner, who was a passenger in the car, had suspended driver’s licenses.

When a traffic stop was conducted near Outer Drive and Dix Road, the owner mentioned that the vehicle had been purchased used 16 days earlier.
