SOUTHGATE — A vacant house for sale in the 14600 block of Kennebec Street was entered and cleared the night of Nov. 6 before being secured after a neighbor reported that the rear door of the house was open.
The caller said the house was reportedly on the market and the former residents no longer lived there. The responding police officers checked all of the doors and made sure the house was secured before leaving the scene.
