MELVINDALE — An unregistered blue moped was impounded the afternoon of Oct. 13 when a police officer saw it being driven on Allen Road without a registration sticker.
The rider said he recently purchased the moped from his brother and didn’t know it had to be registered with the Secretary of State office.
He was cited for having an unregistered motor vehicle and was told to contact the 24th District Court in Allen Park for an appearance date. The moped driver was reportedly upset about the impounding.
