HEIGHTS — An identity theft attempted to convert a 75-year-old Dearborn Heights woman’s bank account to online banking Sept. 21, changing the e-mail associated with the account as well, the victim said.
The woman contacted her bank, who noted that the identity thief had access to her address and Social Security number, and advised her to file a police report.
