MELVINDALE — A man who was cited in Dearborn at 1:30 p.m. Sept. 18 for driving with a suspended license, no vehicle insurance and without a license plate ran out of gas three hours later on Schaefer Highway in Melvindale and was cited for the same charges again, plus impeding and blocking traffic.

When asked why he was still driving if he knew it was illegal to do so, the man had no response.

A check of the Law Enforcement Information Network revealed that the man had numerous open warrants with multiple agencies.

The vehicle was towed and he was advised to contact 24th District Court for an appearance date.
