TRENTON — A woman who indicated to her landlord that she planned to move out had the deadbolt lock changed on her Aug. 14 before she had removed all of her items or her cats.

The landlord complained to police officers that the deadbolt was broken, while in a separate report, the tenant complained that the landlord had unlawfully entered the apartment.

The landlord was advised on proper eviction procedure, while the tenant was advised to contact the 33rd District Court to resolve any civil matters.
