DEARBORN —A man stole transmission fluid, valued at $13, from Citgo, 25350 Michigan Ave., the afternoon of July 15 after the clerk would not allow him to exchange the wrong type of transmission fluid he bought earlier because the container had been opened.
The store clerk said the man was 25 to 35 years old, with a thin build, and wearing a red shirt and jeans. He left the gas station in a white Chevy Malibu with an unreadable temporary license plate in the rear window.
