WYANDOTTE — Six vehicles were damaged and one person was hospitalized June 4 when a box truck northbound on Fort Street experienced brake failure and was unable to stop at the red light at the Baumey Avenue intersection.
The truck slammed into a car, which catapulted into a second vehicle. The truck crashed into several other vehicles before coming to a stop.
It was determined that the truck driver, a 43-year-old Illinois man, was not under the influence of drugs or alcohol.
